Flax is a plant source of the omega-3 fatty acid alpha linolenic acid (ALA) and the omega-6 fatty acid linolenic acid (LA). ALA is metabolized to EPA and DHA. Recent research suggests that daily supplementation with flaxseed oil for eight weeks supports healthy levels of EPA and DPA, a DHA precursor and likely storage form of EPA. Fatty acids promote cardiovascular health and support optimal skin health and hydration. ALA may help to maintain platelet and endothelial cell function.

Organic Flax (Linum usitatissimum) Seed Oil	1000 mg

ALA (Alpha-Linolenic Acid)	550 mg

OA (Oleic Acid)	160 mg

Other ingredients: Bovine gelatin, glycerin, purified water

Suggested Use
